The Art Unleashed Story... Last November, a favorite client suggested an interesting project and I couldn't resist... It turned out to be every bit as challenging and interesting at the end of March when all the individual artists (20 of us) were delivering our finished painted fiberglass sculptures to  "Service Dogs of Virginia" for their big annual fundraiser. The process started with concepts juried and the artists chosen receiving an all white sculpture of a Labrador Retriever. Months later, the painted dogs were clear coated to protect them out doors and distributed around the Charlottesville area. On October 24th they will be auctioned to the highest bidders with funds supporting the new facility for the training of many more service dogs in the years to come.
